How To Wear Leggings All Day, Every Day! (and rock them!)

Wondering how to wear leggings and rock the look? We’re going to talk about leggings, and all the different ways that you can put leggings, and tops, and fashion layering pieces together.

It’s time to get out of those PJ’s and put on leggings. You don’t have to dress completely up, right? Because you’re not really leaving the house. But at least you feel like you’ve somewhat put yourself together a little bit more than PJ’s but still as comfortable as PJ’s or close to it.

How To Wear Leggings All Day

Leggings are great. I think we can all agree on that. They’re versatile and they just make the day comfy and productive, without effort.

You can stay in them all day, and be comfortable. Or even change out your top and go for a walk, run, or bike ride.

And if you’re on zoom all day, nobody’s gonna see your leggings. Just have on some black leggings with your top or blazer and nobody is going to know the difference.

What to wear with leggings

There are so many ways that you can pair tops with leggings. One of my favorite casual outfits is to pair up a basic blacktop, and then over top add this little chambray button-down that I like to leave open, and then I roll up the sleeves.

I’ll then add some cute earrings and a simple necklace, too. And that’s it.

I also like to keep the makeup light when I’m rocking leggings as well. I do love makeup, but I just do blush, lip gloss, mascara, and typically that’s it.

How to wear leggings to work

It’s all about the black leggings. You can never own too many pairs of black leggings – I probably have at least 5 pairs.

I even have a leggings drawer that I keep them all in so I have them handy when I need them. (let’s just say I have about 30 different pairs of leggings, total!)

For work, black leggings paired with a nice top are great. This can create a casual look that still provides the comfort that you need as well.

How to wear leggings in 2021

You can dress them up really fun, and chic, or you can wear them at home also, and literally even sleep in them. This is why leggings are the best.

Another fun leggings option is faux leather leggings. They’re great for sprucing things up and going out on the town. They have a zipper on the side typically and are super fun to wear.

Even pairing them with a white t-shirt and a yellow cardigan can create a super stylish look.

I find that layering pieces over your tops can easily create a whole new look for your outfit. A nice pop of color is always a good idea.

Tips for styling black leggings

Make certain that you change up your tops. Wear different colored tops and vary them with your moods.

Don’t forget that layering your tops for leggings is a fast way to change up your look as well. Animal prints are a fun way to get a whole new look, too.

There are so many places that you can find leggings but I’ve found that Target offers some great choices. You’ll want to try on a few different options from different stores as they all are going to fit and form your body differently.
