If you’ve ever stood in front of your closet and felt like you have nothing to wear, you’ll love these 3 simple style solutions to always look put together and stylish!
First, let’s be honest. How often do you stand in front of your closet, full of clothes, shoes, bags and accessories, but you feel like you have nothing to wear? Or worse, have you ever put on an outfit and you’ve changed it once, twice, three, maybe even four times? It’s draining! It literally causes decision fatigue and makes the day as a whole feel overwhelming and chaotic on top of just regular life.
Join the club girl! You’re not alone. The struggle was real for me, I know! I too have stood in front of my closet for 10-15 minutes or longer just staring in a daze through the mess of unorganized tops, pants, cardigans and shoes trying to figure out what to wear while saying to myself “I have nothing to wear”. I’d see other women looking so fashionable, stylish, and put together and even with all the things I had in my closet, I couldn’t figure it out.
Before I became a stylist almost 10-years-ago, I really was “plain Jane”. I was that type of girl that loved shoes, bags and clothes. I loved shopping. I loved a good deal. But guess what, I really didn’t know how to put it all together.
It wasn’t until after I became a stylist and image consultant with Premier Designs Jewelry that I realized how easy it is to achieve that put-together look.
I’ve learned a few simple style solutions along the way in my journey as a stylist that have taken the guesswork out of getting dressed for every occasion which is essential when you’re a woman on-the-go. I hope that these simple solutions do what they’ve done for for me: maximize your time, money, closet and elevate your own personal style as well.

Here are 3 simple style solution steps to get you running out that door while looking fabulous and feeling confident:
Style Tip 1: Grab a neutral or solid color top to wear on days that you are really in a rush.
As a woman who wears many hats; I’m a mom of two, a wife, president of a marketing firm and as you already know - a stylist. I'm in the trenches with you and know what it's like to be on-the-go all the time. One's style doesn't have to be challenging, especially on those on-the-go days. A neutral or solid color top makes it easier to build an outfit from.
Style Tip 2: Add a fashionable layering piece as an accessory to go over your top.
What I mean by that is maybe a cardigan, kimono, scarf, etc. Right now I am loving kimonos like this simple reddish one with a touch of lace on the shoulders to give it a classic look. In this outfit, I’m using my kimono to add a pop of color to my outfit. Adding some color to your outfit adds texture and contrast giving a little more of a bold look.
Style Tip 3: Add your jewelry accessories.
As an entrepreneur or business woman, this is super important when dressing for business and even for casual settings. I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with a laid-back aesthetic look but when it comes to settings where you’re meeting new people and want to be remembered or make an influence, how you present yourself will better determine the social outcome you’re going for. Now the FUN part! I will admit, 10 years ago this was not my forte and would not have been fun. Today, it’s a total game changer - the jewelry! It’s the very last thing you put on but honestly, it’s the very first thing that people notice about you. Did you know that people take about five to seven seconds to make their first impression of you. Within those few seconds, they’re going to determine whether you are someone that they can trust, depend on and talk to. Using your style to give a more polished and put together impression will make you stand out and show off your uniqueness.
So let’s talk about the jewels that are going to complete your outfit effortlessly!
The necklace I’ve added to this outfit is called “Glowing” which incorporates flowing strands of bronze tassel and gray strands around the neckline. I love the mix of metals. If you are like I was and combining the right jewelry with your outfit doesn’t come easy, using jewelry with mixed metals adds contrast and takes some of the thinking out of what goes with what because you don’t have to worry about whether that silver goes with that gold or that gold goes with that silver, etc. With this, I just mix it all together. It adds lots of fun to your outfit.
Next, I am going to create a fun “Arm Party”. Your wrists are the smallest part of your body, so why not accessorize them and show them off? For this Arm Party, I’m going to use a couple different bracelets; two “It Girl” bracelet together with a bracelet set called “Gleam.” With Gleam you get two silver and one gold. Plus, they are nice and stretchy so they fit comfortably for most wrists sizes.
I don’t know about you but I can't leave the house without a fabulous pair of earrings. I absolutely love statement earrings. Statement earrings draw attention away from those areas that we don’t want people to focus on! So for today, I'm going to add the “Glow” earrings to my outfit. As you can see they have a touch of tassel just like my necklace.

Let’s finish off the look with a watch - You can’t leave your other wrist feeling all lonely, right? I'll admit, before kids I was punctual AF but not so much these days. However, I am respectful of other people's time, a watch is a must!
